The
Rose & Crown is an attractive country inn with en suite accommodation
(at ground level), good views across Romney Marsh and a large safe
pretty garden (which was awarded Marsh in Bloom Winner 1999 and
2000).
Conviently
situated for exploring the Cinque Ports (Rye, New Romney, Hythe,
Deal and Sandwich) or travelling to Continental Europe (Eurotunnel
14 miles, Dover 25 miles).
Numerous
sporting facilities are available in the area, sea/coarse fishing,
sailing, windsurfing, go-karting, flying, golf courses for every
handicap, cycling and much more.
The
Rose & Crown has regular quiz nights (being in 2 leagues) and
holds an open house fun quiz on one Saturday each month, in addition
to being in the Pentanque (boules) league.
